Chocolate Ganache was one of the first recipes I’ve shared on the blog. And it’s about time that I give you guys a vegan version! So if you’re looking for a vegan chocolate ganache recipe or a dairy free chocolate ganache recipe, today is the day. Not only is this a vegan ganache, but if you just love dark chocolate it’s absolutely delicious!
This Dark Chocolate Ganache can be used in so many different recipes. You can top ice cream with it, add it to frostings, to glazes, on top of cakes, drizzle it on top of tarts and so much more. It’s great to have on hand in the fridge for anything you want. And this simple vegan chocolate ganache recipe only has 2 ingredients – dark chocolate and coconut milk. My favorite kid of coconut milk, and what we use at the bakery is So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla. That’s what I use in all my recipes. I love it because it’s creamy and it mimics milk very well. Vegan Dark Chocolate Ganache
Makes 16 ounces
8 ounces organic chopped dark chocolate
1 cup organic unsweetened vanilla coconut milk
Place the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate and once completely melted slowly add the coconut milk and stir until completely combined.
Transfer chocolate ganache to a glass jar or plastic squeeze bottle.
Store chocolate ganache in the fridge until ready to use, for up to 7 days.
