Thanksgiving is literally days away! Who already has their menu done and shopped for? Who is lagging? Well, if you’re lagging in the pie department, then don’t worry I got you covered! I am giving you an Apple Pie Round Up today with all of the best homemade apple pie recipes that are sure to stand out at your Thanksgiving table.
There are so many recipes beyond the classic apple pie. And sometimes the best homemade apple pie recipes are anything but classic! And I have tons of recipes that take classic apple pie to a new level. If you’re wanting to spice up your Thanksgiving dessert table this year, then read on as I give you my favorite apple pie recipes that are anything but traditional!
My Vanilla Bean Apple Pie is a traditional apple pie made with Granny Smith Apples. But, instead of the traditional egg wash on top, I use a donut-like glaze for an insanely good pie that everyone will love! This is my all time favorite apple pie made with Granny Smith apples!
If you love both apple pie and berry pie, then my Apple Berry Pie will be your new favorite pie! I mix a sweet apple like Fuji or Pink Lady with a mix of strawberries and cherries. Plus I still add a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar on top, just like I do with my traditional apple pie. This one is a crowd pleaser for sure!
My Caramel Apple Pie is made with traditional Granny Smith apples along with homemade Caramel Sauce in place of sugar! This makes for an incredibly delicious pie that is less sweet than the traditional apple pie!
I will say that this is probably my favorite apple pie I’ve ever made. Yes, this Orange Blossom Honey Apple Pie is that good! This apple pie is lighter than most with the addition of orange blossom honey and orange zest. Plus I add honey onto the crust for a different flavored pie crust that is by far my favorite for sure!
My Cardamom Apple Pie is lightly spiced with cardamom in the dough, and it is just as easy to make as classic apple pie! But, this simple take will just have your guests wondering what that special something is and I bet they will all love it!
My Dutch Apple Pie has everything the classic apple pie has but with a crumble top. This is very close to traditional apple pie but still has a little something special. This one is amazing with vanilla bean ice cream served on top.
My Honey Lemon Apple Pie is a light take on apple pie. This apple pie uses Honeycrisp apples, honey, and lemon zest to create a wonderful combination of flavors that pairs so well with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!
My Five Spice Cranberry Apple Pie melds together a traditional Dutch apple pie with cranberries, Chinese Five Spice, and a sweet glaze on top. This is the ultimate holiday apple pie! It will make a statement at your dessert table this holiday season.
My Apple Cinnamon Galette is literally the easiest apple pie you will ever make! Galettes are just pies made with no dish, or flattened pies you could say, haha! They are insanely easy to make, you don’t need a pie dish, and I actually find the crust is always a little bit better on galettes because it’s being baked on the baking sheet as opposed to a pie pan, so you never have a soggy bottom.
Looking to really surprise your guests this Thanksgiving? My Peanut Butter Apple Pie is sweet and salty and will definitely give your guests something to talk about. This take on apple pie is completely different than any other pie and it is amazingly delicious!
If you have recently gone apple picking and you have a slew of different apples laying around, then my Rainbow Apple Tart is something you must bake! The colors in this tart make for the most beautiful presentation that is sure to impress your Thanksgiving crowd.
