I hosted Cookie Happy Hour class last week and it was Thanksgiving inspired to get you all ready for turkey day. This was the cocktail recipe that I shared along with my Iced Apple Cinnamon Cookies from my new book, The Mountain Baker. I’ll be sharing that recipe soon!
If you’re looking for a fun cocktail to serve this Thanksgiving then this Thanksgiving Punch is it! This recipe is also delicious as a mocktail that even the kids will love! When I made this recipe the first time, all I could think was how amazing this drink would look in a big punch bowl, like high school dance style complete with a ladle! The floating cranberries make this drink so festive and would just add to the punch bowl look as well.
The recipe makes one cocktail, but you can multiply it by however many guests you anticipate and then serve it in the punch bowl. Leave the cinnamon sticks out in a little dish on the side so people can ladle their punch and then stick a cinnamon stick in it. Get the recipe for my Thanksgiving Punch below.
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/4 cup organic pear juice
1/4 cup organic sparkling apple cider
4 fresh cranberries
1 organic cinnamon stick
Add ice into a cocktail glass, pour vodka over top.
Add in pear juice, sparkling apple cider, and cranberries.
Serve with a cinnamon stick.
