Why You'll Love This Recipe
You will love this recipe for Sunday Brunch for Dogs because now you can brunch with your dog! No more searching for dog friendly restaurants for brunch, instead brunch with your dog at home!
There’s nothing I live more than brunch! A little indulgent breakfast food in the middle of the day combined with relaxing is really an amazing combination. So, of course, I want John John to experience brunch and all its glory.
I start this recipe by making my Blueberry Pancakes for Dogs. And I’ve had some extra egg whites recently from baking, so I cooked them up in coconut oil for John John as he loves egg whites! You can use whole eggs if you would like to as well, either works!
I use Organic Prairie Ground Turkey and form two sausage links. I cooked them up in coconut oil as well (his fave!) and it really rounds out the meal with more protein. I added some fresh blueberries for antioxidants and a little sweetness. And John John goes nuts for this easy Sunday Brunch for Dogs!
My friends at Dog is Human sent us some of their multivitamins to try out, as I make all of John John’s food. This USA made, non-GMO multivitamin is a great addition to your dog’s homemade meals! Add it on top as a treat or crumble it up and mix it in. Use code MIMI20 for 20% off!

Tips for Making Sunday Brunch for Dogs
• Depending on the size of your dog, you may need to make more or less of this meal to fit your dog’s food requirements. John John is 18 pounds and he ate this whole meal (minus one pancake as that was too much, but I wanted to use it for the photos!).
• I used my Blueberry Pancakes for Dogs recipe. I made these a few weeks ago for John John and I put some in the freezer, so I could take them out as needed. These freeze really good, so you can make them and freeze some if your dog won’t eat them all right away. I used zip bags to freeze them, and I thawed them out in the microwave!
• I used egg whites here because I had extras from baking. Your dog can eat the whole egg and the whole egg is good for them! Eggs provide protein along with essential amino and fatty acids. They have vitamins including A and B12, folate, iron, selenium, and riboflavin. These are all great for your dog and they can improve skin and coat health as well as aid in stronger teeth and bones.
• I use organic ground turkey to make turkey sausages. John John eats ground turkey a lot for dinner, so I just set aside a bit of raw meat to form a couple sausage links. I cooked these in a skillet with coconut oil until done. You could also form them into little patties, but I thought the links would be funnier for this shoot!
• I added fresh blueberries to this Sunday Brunch for Dogs. Blueberries are high in antioxidants, Vitamin C and K, and fiber, which are all great for your dogs, plus they love these little fruits! You could also add strawberries, blackberries, banana, or apples to this plate as well as these are all dog friendly fruits.
