Soft cookies with pumpkin, peanut butter, honey, and oats are a delicious treat for all dogs! Especially senior dogs as these cookies are soft so they are easy to chew and digest. You can give these cookies as treats or even crumble them up for a special food topper.

Ingredients for Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Cookies
Costco Kirkland Organic Peanut Butter
Farmer's Market Organic Pumpkin Puree
Cairnspring Mills Organic All Purpose Flour

Why Organic for Your Dog?
You may be wondering why you should buy organic food for your dog. It's the same reasons that you should buy organic food for yourself. Your dog's health is important, just like yours. So, treating them right with organic ingredients will benefit their long term health.
And organic ingredients are much healthier for your dog to eat in general as they do not contain GMOs or anything artificial. Plus, you are being environmentally friendly when you choose organic ingredients! And that counts for your pup too!

Ingredients
142 grams (1 cup plus 2 tablespoons) organic all purpose flour
71 grams (3/4 cup) organic rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
170 grams (3/4 cup) organic peanut butter
85 grams (1/4 cup) organic raw honey
57 grams organic pumpkin puree
1 organic large egg
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the flour, oats, and baking soda. Mix to combine completely.
- Add the peanut butter, honey, pumpkin, and egg and mix to combine into a stiff dough.
- Using your hands form the dough into 27 balls and place on the prepared baking sheets. Flatten them a little so they are about 1-inch in diameter.
- Bake for 9 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly brown. Let cool completely on the cookie sheets.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Notes
- Gluten Free — Use gluten free oats, and replace the all purpose flour with 155 grams (1 cup) organic gluten-free flour blend.
- High Altitude — Bake at 375°f for 8 minutes, or until the edges are slightly brown.
