This easy pesto hummus has the addition of pistachios for an earthy flavor profile that goes so well with the slightly sweet and peppery flavor of fresh basil. The aroma of fresh basil will fill your kitchen when you make this Pistachio Pesto Hummus!

Why go organic?

You may be wondering why I push organic ingredients for everything, even savory and healthy dishes. This Pistachio Pesto Hummus is a delightful twist on the classic Middle Eastern dip! This easy pesto hummus makes the perfect dip for veggies, bread, and more!

Ingredients

  • 30 ounces organic chickpeas

  • 1 cup organic fresh basil leaves

  • 1/2 cup Carapelli Original Sustainable Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1/4 cup organic roasted & salted shlled pistachios

  • 1 teaspoon organic minced garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon organic black pepper

  • 1 organic French baguette

Directions

  • and pepper. Blend until smooth. Add more olive oil, if desired.
  • Slice baguette into thin slices, drizzle with olive oil. Air fry at 400°F for 4 to 5 minutes, until lightly toasted. Serve with hummus and celery sticks or veggies.
