You will love this recipe because there is literally one ingredient – organic coconut! It’s toasted to perfection and it becomes an amazing healthy and delicious snack in a matter of minutes. This sugar free snack is so flavorful and the best thing about it is you can even share this with your dog! John John and I eat this all the time!

I used organic coconut meat slices, or it may also be called organic dried coconut. These pieces are larger and thicker than your traditional wide flake coconut that is used in baking. This makes these more like chips. Plus, the texture can range a little more because of the sizes, some are thicker, and some are thinner.

How to Make Homemade Toasted Coconut Chips

I made these in my air fryer, but you can also make them in your oven. Totally up to you!

Spread coconut out onto a baking sheet (or I used foil on top of my basket in my air fryer). Bake until they are lightly golden brown. That’s it!

These homemade Toasted Coconut Chips are a healthy and delicious snack! This simple sugar free snack is sweet and healthy, so you can enjoy it anytime of day! You can even share this easy snack with your dog!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound organic dried coconut

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Or you can do this in your air fryer, like I did.
  • Add the coconut to a baking sheet and bake for 5 to 7 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
