Why You’ll Love This Recipe

I love this recipe because it is so simple! This easy and healthy snack only requires three ingredients, and it is so good! I use organic kale, extra virgin olive oil, and everything bagel seasoning to make these easy Everything Bagel Kale Chips.

If you are a fan of Rhythm Superfoods snacks then you will love these Everything Bagel Kale Chips. While I am obsessed with the Rhythm Cauliflower Bites, I went down the rabit hole of how to make them and got into it deep on a Reddit thread of people trying to recreate them for years. So, I decided not to waste my time there, and I’ll buy those.

But I did get the idea to make these Everything Bagel Kale Chips because I love their kale chips and their Everything Bagel Broccoli Bites. So, I came up with this recipe for an easy and healthy snack that you can easily make at home!

How to Make Everything Bagel Kale Chips

First, make sure that you remove all the stems from the kale. While you can bake them in there, they will never really get crispy, and instead will just become soggy. I remove them before hand as they aren’t very good when you get a bite of one!

In a large bowl, drizzle olive oil over the kale and add everything bagel spice mix. Massage into the kale, and then dump onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. I also add more everything bagel spice mix on top!

I heat these low and slow, at 250°F until they are light and crispy!

That’s it!

Why go organic?

You may be wondering why I push organic ingredients for everything, even savory and healthy dishes. Organic ingredients go beyond just health and wellness, and contribute so much to the taste and flavor of a recipe. So, if you think that you’re making something healthy and buying fruits, veggies, or meats so maybe you don’t need to spend the extra to go organic here – let me sway your thinking.

Organic ingredients are made in a more pure way, therefore using no additives, no GMOs, and minimal ingredients. This really allows the true ingredients to shine – and because of that their flavor shines through. Therefore, organic ingredients are more flavorful than their non organic counterparts. So, just because it’s already a healthy recipe, or you’re already buying good for you ingredients – it doesn’t mean you can skip organic! Trust me here, and make the switch. Your body and your taste buds will thank you!

So, I highly recommend that you buy the best organic ingredients for this recipe! You can also shop my Amazon Storefront for all my favorite organic ingredients here. Tip – hover over each ingredient to see the name. And if you want to learn more about organic foods and the difference, read my post here on Food Labels and What They Mean.
