How to make Chocolate Cashew Butter Balls
Step 1
The first step in making this easy no bake candy is adding the cashew butter, powdered sugar, and maple syrup to the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment. If you don’t have a stand mixer, you can use a hand mixer or even just a bowl with a whisk or wooden spoon. This recipe is incredibly forgiving, so you can use what you have!
This mixture gets mixed until everything is combined.
Step 2
Next step is to roll the mixture into balls with your hands and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Put this in the freezer, as it’s easier to coat the balls when they are firm.
Step 3
Time to melt the chocolate! You can do this in a double boiler or using a microwave, whichever you prefer. If using a microwave, microwave in 30 second intervals stirring between each one until the chocolate is smooth.
Step 4
Remove the balls from the freezer and dip each ball into the melted chocolate. I use a fork (like a spoon, do not pierce) to lift up the ball from the chocolate. This way, the excess chocolate drips off back into the bowl. And then I place the chocolate covered ball on the parchment paper.
Step 5
Once all the balls are covered, you can drizzle the remaining chocolate on top for a pretty finish!

Yes, if you aren’t vegan and would like to use milk chocolate or white chocolate, that is totally fine too!
How should I store these Chocolate Cashew Butter Balls?
These should be stored in a cool dry place. I prefer the fridge, but if you leave them out for a few days while you eat them, they will be just fine! You can also freeze them for up to 1 month in an airtight container.

Why Organic
Why use organic ingredients in this recipe? You all know I’m a huge organic advocate, and I bet you may be thinking sometimes, Why would I even bother to use organic ingredients in something that is so sweet and indulgent? But, that is the exact reason why you should use organic ingredients! Sweet things need to have flavor in order to be good, otherwise they are just sweet and they don’t taste like much else. Organic ingredients are more pure than conventional ones, therefore they actually have more flavor than the non organic options. Say it with me, organic means more flavor! And not just more flavor but a more true and pure flavor. And organic ingredients are much healthier for you to eat in general as they do not contain GMOs or anything artificial. Plus, you are being environmentally friendly when you choose organic ingredients!
So, I highly recommend that you buy the best organic ingredients for this recipe! You can also shop my Amazon Storefront for all my favorite organic ingredients here. These look delicious! I’m just thinking if I was to make the balls and pop them in the freezer in an airtight container, and then several days later, when I have the opportunity to coat them in chocolate and take them as a gift, do you think that would still work well? Thank you.
Good morning, just an update. Made these lovely treats and took them as a gift to my grandchildren, four of them under the age of nine. They were love by all and they gave them the two thumbs up! Ruby, then lifted both of her feet as if to say I give it a four thumbs up! So funny. Thank you.😊
Aw, thank you Nancy for sharing! So happy to hear they were enjoyed!
