Why You'll Love This Recipe
This easy avocado hummus recipe is perfect for a Super Bowl party, or just to enjoy as a healthy snack. I use bone broth in addition to extra virgin olive oil in this easy avocado hummus recipe. This is the healthiest hummus recipe I have ever made, but it’s insanely good!
My Avocado Bone Broth Hummus doesn’t even taste like bone broth is used; however, it adds more protein and the great benefits of bone broth! I love recipes like this that have amazing ingredients that are so good for you, yet they are just a delicious snack!

FAQ's
Can I make this ahead of time?
Because this has avocado in it, the hummus can turn brown more easily. This does have lime juice, which helps it from turning brown. But I did notice a little discoloration after 24 hours (but it’s still good to eat!). So, I would recommend making this the day of if you want it to look bright and pretty!
What if I don’t have bone broth?
No worries, if you don’t have bone broth you can just use extra virgin olive oil in its place! If you want to order my favorite bone broth from Kettle & Fire, use code MIMIBAKESCOOKIES for 20% off!
What can I serve with this Avocado Bone Broth Hummus?
So many things! You can serve it with crackers like I have here, like my Sourdough Wheat Crackers. You can serve it with pretzels, tortilla chips, bagel chips, carrots, celery, bell peppers, or any other veggies.
This is also a great hummus to add to toast (for instant avocado toast!). I also love this on turkey sandwiches or wraps!

Why go organic?
You may be wondering why I push organic ingredients for everything, even savory and healthy dishes. Organic ingredients go beyond just health and wellness, and contribute so much to the taste and flavor of a recipe. So, if you think that you're making something healthy and buying fruits, veggies, or meats so maybe you don't need to spend the extra to go organic here – let me sway your thinking.
Organic ingredients are made in a more pure way, therefore using no additives, no GMOs, and minimal ingredients. This really allows the true ingredients to shine – and because of that their flavor shines through. Therefore, organic ingredients are more flavorful than their non organic counterparts. So, just because it's already a healthy recipe, or you're already buying good for you ingredients – it doesn't mean you can skip organic! Trust me here, and make the switch. Your body and your taste buds will thank you!
So, I highly recommend that you buy the best organic ingredients for this recipe! You can also shop my Amazon Storefront for all my favorite organic ingredients here. Tip – hover over each ingredient to see the name. And if you want to learn more about organic foods and the difference, read my post here on Food Labels and What They Mean.
